Ela Erickson was born and raised in Poland. She moved to the United States in her twenties and graduated from a university in the Seattle, Washington area, where she has spent most of her life.
Her true passions are yoga, dance, painting, and charitable work. Ela has completed several yoga training programs in India, along with advanced studies in Seattle, Washington.
With over 40 years of personal yoga practice, including many years of volunteering and substituting classes, Ela brings depth of experience and a compassionate, supportive teaching approach. Her style emphasizes alignment and foundational movement to help students safely regain balance, stability, and strength. All classes are fully modifiable, so students never need to worry about flexibility or prior experience.
Ela incorporates guided breathing techniques at the beginning, throughout, and at the end of each practice to support relaxation, focus, and nervous system balance. Sessions often conclude with gentle sound relaxation using Tibetan singing bowls, creating a calming and restorative experience.
